Suggs will probably return right around Feb 6th which is the trade deadline. Then the FO can say something like "having Jalen return is like acquiring a player at the deadline. Why go anywhere near Steph when he's that far away from the basket. Let him take that shot. If he makes it, you tip your cap to him and move on.
