Thank you! I agree. I don't know why anyone thinks he is the future and will develop offensively. It aint going to happen!

This is probably true on the offensive side of the equation. The upside on him was always defensively. He has kind of a weird looking shot too. Not as bad as Fultz, but it's pretty close. Rashard Lewis had a funky shot back in the day. But that dude could flat out shoot the basketball. Remember the good old days of inside out basketball?!

But Fultz was not sloppy on defense either. The thing I liked about Markelle was he was very good at breaking down the defense and getting into the paint for layups. As the point guard, Fultz did not run and stand in the corner (that is, before Mosley became coach). He was very good as a floor general getting others involved.

Wow Mavericks fans are truly stunned by the Doncic trade. They are completely heartbroken as well. LA gets what LA wants. The Dodgers get whatever they want. As do the Lakers. It's crazy!

wow i’m stunned. The NBA is a WWE league. Once again, the Lakers get a prime franchise player! For what? AD? AD who hasn’t looked the same for a long time now? Doncic who hasn’t event entered his prime?

This is sick. Good for Lakers fans. Gonna make them even more cocky. But i dunno. These deals need to be investigated

Yes, that's an excellent point about Kelle. He was a fearless driver and would either finish at the basket or kick it back out to someone on the perimeter. At times it's like AB is glued to that one spot on the floor on every possession. There was a brief period when he was being more aggressive taking it to the rack. But now he's regressed back to standing around the perimeter. Probably has a lot to do with the return of Paolo and Franz. After all the FO feels like we don't need a true PG running the show. They seem content to allow Paolo to be the primary ball handler.

LeBron said after the Knicks game tonight while he was out to dinner that he had no idea that the trade was taking place. Yeah, and the Wizards will win the NBA Championship this year!

It's been removed, but a few minutes ago I saw on ESPN Kendrick Perkins, nba sports analyst, questioned how that deal went down.

I watched that a little while ago. Surprisingly he said that the Mavs approached the Lakers seeking the trade. Could be true. You never know, I guess. Just seemed like they would want more back in return for a franchise type player like Luka.

Trading Luka Doncic is the most ridiculous thing any franchise has done in literal years. Like everyone has been burying Jeff Weltman and he deserves his criticism but he'd never do that.

There has to be something we don't know here. This is the most 'if this trade got proposed on a message board you'd get called dumb for suggesting it" ass trade to actually happen of all time.

Nico Harrison, the Mavs GM, didn't even speak to the rest of the league! He offered a 25 year old MVP candidate fresh of leading his franchise to the God damn finals to the Lakers for 31 year old AD and a single first round pick. If he did this of his own accord he needs investigating for corruption or something. If this came from the Mavs ownership he's the biggest moron in the world for not immediately resigning when they asked him to trade a top 2 player in franchise history.
