CTMagicUK Posted November 1, 2024 Author Report Posted November 1, 2024 This is the worst. Time for Franz to earn that money. Quote
Forumreader Posted November 1, 2024 Report Posted November 1, 2024 I am excited to see what would unfold if its not positive then atleast we could all agree that this is more of a paolo’s team Quote
Jay Magic Posted November 1, 2024 Report Posted November 1, 2024 Paolo going down is obviously bad and upsetting but the silver lining is more opportunity and next man up for the roster honestly I'd like to see Tristan now get some minutes he will perform Suggs..KCP.. Franz..Isaac..WCJ Cole..AB..Harris..Jett/TDS.. Moe/Goga Quote
CTMagicUK Posted November 1, 2024 Author Report Posted November 1, 2024 What sucks is this likely rules Paolo out of end of season awards. As long as he's back in time for the playoffs, and we can stay afloat without him, that's what's most important. Quote
MagicMan1979 Posted November 1, 2024 Report Posted November 1, 2024 Just read the news. Wow this changes everything. He was really taking another leap too. This is Franz’s time to show he is an All Star. Quote

That being said, we need another ball handler that can come in if Franz can’t go and teams are tripling Paolo like Chicago did the entire 2nd half last night. AB, Suggs, KCP, Cole, Jett, Gary every single one of are guards are better playing off ball. We knew this in the off-season and it’s evident now. Imagine how much better Paolo and Franz could be if we got someone in that could help create easy ones for them. 16 hours ago, Shine88 said: This. Weltman is one stubborn guy. He's so stuck on this position less basketball, that it's hard for him to see the real need for this team. We're going on the second season with no creation from our backcourt. I’m afraid imagining it will be all we can do for the foreseeable future. A guy like Giddy would be fantastic for our offense. With Paulo now out for at least a month, there is a real chance we could lose the next four games. We are going to have to play good team basketball to have a chance in any of them. Quote
JJZFL Posted November 1, 2024 Report Posted November 1, 2024 One more thing: In the past few years we’ve been incredibly cautious about bringing players back from injuries. Will Paulo be out longer than is initially being put out there? You have to think it’s a real possibility. Quote
JJZFL Posted November 1, 2024 Report Posted November 1, 2024 Cleveland 7.5 point favorites at home against us tonight in the betting lines. Quote
hootie249 Posted November 1, 2024 Report Posted November 1, 2024 I took a minute to respond because i didn't want to be too negative. The injury sucks but it will open up more minutes for everyone else, this might just be a blessing in disguise. This is the year to really see who is in and who is out. Let's get them all out there! More shots for Franz!, More playing time for Jett and Tristan! Sink or swim with our point guards! I suspect we will have even more exciting games with obviously a few more losses. Luckily Banchero already had that trancendent start, we know what we have with him, let's see what everyone else can do. Go Magic! Flying into town next friday night i might catch that home game. 1 Quote
Shine88 Posted November 1, 2024 Report Posted November 1, 2024 There are only two teams with no picks outgoing at any point in the future: San Antonio and Orlando The upside both teams have to win big pieces via trades should scare the league given their already high upsides https://x.com/MavsDraft/status/1852338049062977786 Quote

And Cole as a young veteran has to play more. Banchero out for 4 to 6 weeks will probably cost us a pile of losses. This a tough early schedule and league is very competitive. Playoff seeding? 7 to 10 and a higher draft pick than originally expected. Quote
