Successful surgery for Suggs, he’s officially been ruled out for the remainder of the season. So we got 6 games of Franz, Paolo, Jalen this year. That sucks

Sometimes when you've got everything under the microscope it's easy to be critical. But when you step back and look at things from 50,000 feet you can see that there's still a lot here worth believing in and sticking with.

actually, no it’s a curse for us. This season was a curse and we are not even drafting Top 10!

I refuse to get excited about the lottery anymore. That time is over. If we are back in the lottery even this year it's a failure. Besides, look at the last two lottery picks.

We get the Anthony Black pick, just missing out on a Thompson twin which who i'm sure they really wanted. The Magic finally draft a point guard! But really Black is just another Long Boi.

Then we need a shooter and of course it's another Michigan guy. Who else was drafting Jett in the lottery? Answer, nobody! Point guards take a long time to adjust to this league We really needed to hit on one these last 5 or 6 years. Now, if we try to draft one we will be wasting parts of Paolo and Franz prime. We need to make a trade.

Funny thing i remembered after thinking all year how hard is it for a franchise to get a point guard. I was thinking about the draft we got Bamba. Another head scratching draft from Hammond and Weltman. I remember this forum hoping Trea Young would fall to our pick. Of course we just miss that pick thanks to Frank freaking Vogel winning the last game of the season the previous year before getting fired. So we draft Mo Bamba, but why? The last idiot Gm did the same thing by trading for Ibaka and signing Biyombo even though our best player was a center! VOOCH! So that year we desperately need a point guard we draft a center. The next two point guards taken are Sexton and SGA. One is going to win MVP this year and Sexton's second year in Cleveland was statistically better then any season a Magic guard has had in the last 10 years!

Heck i remember people on this forum  wanting us to get a point guard with our second round pick or move up to get one. Four point guards were picked before we got Melvin Frazier including Jalen Brunson. You guys even said he would be a steal if he fell to the second round! And your wondering where i'm going with this, so here it is.

You can look at this with every draft except the Paolo,Suggs and Franz drafts. These guys can't draft. I really think they picked Paolo because he was obviously the best college NBA ready big man. Suggs was also a no brainer since he slipped to pick 5. Franz was the only true genius pick and maybe that was just because of the Michigan ties.

Yeah this writer is a Magic fan. It's cool to have at least one media guy out there who notices the Magic.

Now trade for Trea Young and get us back on TNT games next year!
