The Magic are now tied with Utah for worst record in the last 10 games at 1-9. That lone Utah win was against us.

(This is a total cope post)

I wonder if there's a chance we become a buyout candidate? It's not exactly likely that guys would want to join us to chase a ring but maybe to play meaningful basketball instead of rotting on tanking teams. I'm thinking specifically about a guy like Malcolm Brogdon. Although he's played less games than Gary Harris this year.

Then again, makes more sense to keep Caleb Houstan on the end of the bench doing nothing and offering nothing when he gets in the game...

I love how we do this to ourselves. There is not a chance we waive someone so a buy out candidate comes to Orlando.

In other news the Kings keep losing. Something to watch this season. Let's see how the Kings and Spurs do because it will be relevant to the Magic. Some players just don't contribute to winning but have great stats like DeRozan and Lavine. Some players are just in the wrong system like Fox. I don't think it's that simple but something to watch. You need a proper combination of defense and offense and nobody on the Kings plays defense.

Meanwhile i hate the say it but the Lakers are going to be my number one to watch the rest of the season, Lebron,Luka and Williams is just going to be fun to watch.

Also on the radio this morning Mark Daniels was hinting at players that could hit free agency after next season, i guess offering a little hope for us. This is so ridiculous! No players make it to free agency anymore! What have we seen to ever make him think that! Paul George is like the only recent example and the worst kind of example!

This team will start winning again, probably on our upcoming 8 game home stand. Probably best to stop thinking about who the Magic could add until after the season ends.

Real Question: if we don't turn things around and keep losing at this clip, I feel like Mose has lost the locker room. We clearly were great just a month ago and this has been a really rough patch. If we don't turn things around before the end of the season... Is it justified for us to fire Mose? Or is he too integral for the culture or our young team for the Magic brass to make such a change?

I can't imagine us doing so but if we go like 5-20 the rest of the way, I don't see how we don't fire him or someone's head rolls.

In the same month you mentioned, forum has going from COY to maybe fire him!

Honestly, I don't think he has lost the locker room, I've seen head downs recently, but I believe, I want to believe, that is more due to results. Rough stretch and west trip with no rythm and continuity after the long injuries bug. Suggs still out. We can and we should be in playoffs with a over 500 record, I cannot really imagine a 5-20 record.

Mose has his own faults, but also credit in the bank. Always stated that the best option was surrounding him, a friendly coach with a good connection with players, with top assistants, especially an offensive one, and a shooting coach. Unfortunately, they're still evaluating my request! :P

No you gotta keep Mosley. But you gonna have to finally give him an experienced Assistant coach or at least an innovative OC type coach like the NFL.

I just don’t understand the concept that we still haven’t gotten replacement from our former assistant coach, who was said to be an important part of the staff back then?!

Memphis made a big offensive jump when they hired Llisalo. I prayed for German national team coach Herbert. He was available, he’s american and he plays a nice offensive scheme and he has same values as Orlando Magic. Perfect fit. He was ready to go to Japan to coach a team, and in the last second, EL team Bayern Munich hired him and are currently one of the best offensive teams in Europe with a low budget compared to other teams.

Wasted opportunity.

Is Detroit buying out Shroeder? He would be great in Orlando with our German players.

We can only pray that happens but highly unlikely. In other news we signed Ethan Thompson off our G league team to a 2 way contract. Weltman’s a genius he didn’t trade for anyone because he knew we had this hidden gem waiting for his chance.
