I see it.. But at the same time it’s a tough one.. 

Due to their restrictions, they can only take back less than his contract. At the same time they want to win now.. We can only offer them Cole Anthony, or G. Harris + Jett Howard. 

and with both of those trades, they wouldn’t get better imo. 

 

But i do like the idea.. 

 

But imo nothing beats adding Sexton AND Cam Johnson and imo there is a realistic path if we attach the 2025 and 2026 picks, which i believe we won’t even have a realistic roster spot for them anyway. We can’t even get Jett Howard minutes.

Yea I'm aware the Bucks are restricted by the 2nd apron. 

I'm not envisioning this as a Magic/Bucks trade but the Bucks moving players for whatever big trade they may be pursuing (Butler etc) and we get Portis in the fallout by sending salary + 2nds or something to a third team.

great, super creative. I like what he brings to the table.

For me, and i think for you as well, with the assets we are probably willing to offer, the best outcome is Cam Johnson AND/or Sexton.

Bobby Marks has proposed a trade for us for Grayson Allen in his latest trade deadline article.

Doubt we do it but at least it's a new name. There were two versions of the trade in the article (as well as a Cam Johnson trade but that's been talked about to death already) but it was essentially something like Cole + the Denver pick for Allen.

Magic remain a sleeper team for Johnson. In recent weeks, the chances of them pulling off something big involving Cole Anthony have decreased. It’s still possible they make a small move, but getting Paolo and Franz back are their deadline deals.

Yeah it’s a new name and he can shoot but I don’t know if it would be worth a first round pick for Allen.  I’d rather go after Sexton or another guard with a similar package personally.

If we traded for Grayson and he was still around when Moe got healthy and with Jalen, we’d be the most annoying team for other fanbases of all time.

Also, I think Cole has shown too much lately for me to trade that much for a guy like Grayson Allen
