2024/25 NBA Regular Season Thread

This bad luck is hard to believe... And again the oblique! Wtf!

I really feel for Franz, he has given everything to step up and carry the team on his back. He deserves all the recognition he gets and he deserves the All Star he will probably be left out of.

We will have to just try to survive until Paolo comes back, although I don't know who is going to score now on this team from what we have seen this past month....

So I guess tomorrow's lineup will be Suggs/KCP/Tristan/Wendell/Goga

with Black/Jett/Cole/JI(if avalaible)/Mo from the bench, or at least some of them... Maybe a few minutes of Caleb Houstan.

I'll be shocked if we score 100 points...

I'm not a betting man but looking at the schedule I've pencilled in Paolo to return on the 19th vs OKC.. Latest 23rd vs Celtics

I’ve had the 19th penciled in for awhile as well. If that’s the case and we lose in the cup quarterfinals we only got 2 games without both stars

So you mean to say they cannot now shine after 1 bad game or so?

Half joking, we should cut Caleb and bring back Markelle

Might as well have kept Markelle. He couldn't be any worse than some of these guys. At least Kelle knew how to drive to the basket, make layups, and sometimes draw fouls. (And I am serious).

Most of these guys hang out in the corner or on the 3pt line waiting to chuck and brick 3 pointers.

I'm with you on the excessive 3 pointers..

I think we see Jalen especially and AB drive to the basket alot more from tomorrow

Jalen is outrageously strong...  he needs to make driving to the rim a priority in his game not just short-term but a main facet of his game

If we don’t play team ball now we’re doomed. Move the ball and whoever’s open either drives or shoots.  If Suggs tries to dribble 1v 4 to the rim and forces a bunch of shots we have no chance.

I believe one of the reasons KCP is doing worse than expected this year is he doesn’t get enough touches to get in any kind of rhythm.

Is this a sick joke? The same exact *****ing injury. This blows. Carrying our offense must put a lot of strain on the oblique huh?

I'd start AB. He's far from perfect, some nights he's far from even being good on offense, but he's the only guy on the team who can even consistently get into the lane off the dribble.

I know.  When is the last time we’ve had a player out with this injury?  I can’t remember one.  And now our two best players each have it?  Chance of that happening has to be like one in a million.
