I agree with you Soul. This is one of my favorite Magic Teams ever. I wouldn’t make any trades this year. I want to see what this team can do in The Playoffs.

Really should have acquired Schroder as a low key move. The Magic play the Nets twice this week and they just beat the Suns. Schroder playing with the two Wagners should have been an easy thing to pull off and we all said it. He has legit made them a .500 team along with some good two way players. No stars on that team but some good talent.

They’ve done a good job building him up on a bad team.  
 

He’s probably too expensive now. 
 

I still think The Nets want to tank hard this year and will move him. 
 

No trades this year for me. Third in The East without our best player. I trust management at this point ;)

Why so disrespectful? It is reported that he is available. Probably so they can tank for Flagg, Bailey or Harper and also want to avoid overpaying him on an extension.

Cam Johnson and DFS and Schroeder are also reported to be available via trade..

You don't have to get rid of a scorer to tank. They didn't extend him yet but it would be kind of stupid to not do it now. Even against all the odds they tank and get Flagg they still need to put him with someone. Just doesn't make sense to trade Cam.

No one has ever denied that Thomas, who can be a restricted free agent next summer after he and Brooklyn didn't come to an extension last month, is a walking bucket. But even after significant jumps in shooting efficiency (46.1% overall, 38.9% from 3) he still is a very ball-dominant player who is a limited passer and questionable defender.

Brooklyn is several points better defensively with him sitting -- and actually has a positive net rating (2.9) in his 354 minutes on the bench, compared to a minus-4.5 net rating in his 568 minutes on the court. Brooklyn began its stretch without Thomas Wednesday with a stunning win in Phoenix. For years, rival scouts and executives have had trouble determining Thomas' value. The next month could help shape that.

No disrespect but a 23 year old who is averaging over 20 points a game is not gonna be moved for what we have to offer. It’s just not.
