2024 NBA Summer League Thread

Looks like the team is becoming complacent. Would just for once like to win a Summer League Championship, even if I know it's completely meaningless.

Finally watched yesterday's game. Theo Maledon was kind of not great. 

Jay Huff still the only unsigned guy to consistently impress me. 

Tristan Da Silva could be an impactful oleplayer from day 1. The jumper looks so good.

Da Silva shooting is really impressive so far. Jett forcing things too much. Really wish we had gotten Shannon. That is all.

Cooper with 2 for 2 from 3. I heard the Magic signed this kid, so why haven’t we seen him till tonight?  Inquiring minds need to know.

Guess I’m the only one watching. Lol. Anyway just heard that the NBA is now kissing the Sheik’s butt and naming the In season tournament the Emirate Cup. Proving once again that Made in the USA or even owned by an American company means Nothing to these big organizations. Bunch of money whores, that don’t give a dam about anything else.

Last 2 Two Way contracts should go to Maledon and I. Todd

 

Maledon is a floor general we might need. He gets to the rim at will it seems and he sets up players. He should have had an easy Double Double against the Nets if it wasn’t for his bad teammates. 

Todd, i’m actually curious why he didn’t get to play. Maybe they’ve seen enough at practice? Good or bad. I’d choose Todd over Huff, just because Todd can play both PF and C. Imo he also played the right way in very limited minutes.

ahh damn. I don’t know the rules of these two ways.. 

I would have given Maledon the last roster spot, instead of Joseph then. Joseph isn’t going to provide anything besides veteran leadership. Couldn’t we just bring him in as n assistant? 

 

BTW, Mosley still not interested to replace Tibbets? What was Tibbets doing here if there is no replacement needed?

I am also not sure why we never go all in on this summer league. As if we have a lot of championship to parade. Atleast get a summer league banner. LOL.
