Paolo Banchero listed making the Eastern Conference Finals as his primary goals for the upcoming season: “My first year was rookie of the year, second year was All-Star. But I think really what I want is to get to the Eastern finals. Get deep into playoffs”

The Orlando Magic will practice this entire week from Tuesday through Sunday, heavily emphasizing the offensive scheme. Following practice Sunday afternoon, the team is expected to depart for New Orleans. Their first preseason game is Monday.

Jalen Suggs had a powerful statement when asked what motivates him: “With the excitement level we have from the fans, and the passion they bring. I wanna win for them… I wanna see the parades coming through these streets… that’s what I’m visualizing”

Jonathan Isaac has apparently said he has gained 30 lbs and honestly that does not sound like a good thing for a man with a long history of knee injuries.

That’s what some of us were saying here during the scouting process. TDS plays like Franz 2.0

Oh yeah, this is huge!! Seems like we emphasize on offensive schemes. Having the majority of the team back, really helps. We have our defensive schemes and habits, probably just need a tweak here and there..

What i hope for our offense individually:

- More Franz off ball cutting. 

- Suggs playmaking and ballhandling in pick and roll situations. 

- playing more through WCJ as a passing hub

- Playing more through Paolo and WCJ in pick and roll/pop. Both can roll hard and be lob threats and both are solid to pop out to the 3point line as well. that makes it incredibly hard for defenses to make decisions.

- AB being the playmaker off the bench. 
- Cole being a scorer off the bench but not primary ball handler. 

- TDS doing Franz things on offense. 
- Finding minutes for Jett

- Isaac only as 3 and D. I don’t want him to do anything more. Just don’t get him in risky situations for his body. Forbid him to do Eurosteps

 

What i hope for our offensive schemes:

- This team is build differently from most NBA teams. We can really run an Euroleague offense in the NBA. I believe our team is really unselfish. 

- I want 5 Out offense, I want Iverson Cut staggered screens, I want spanish pick and roll.

- And with our defense, I want a faster pace on offense. Run them fast breaks
