Just watched this earlier today. Bobby always does a great job. I thought it was interesting about not giving Franz a max extension. Suggs and Franz’s extensions should be worth watching this year. Franz cost himself some money it looks like with Westbrookian shooting. I had thought he would get a fun max but according to Bobby only Wiggins, Porter Jr and Garland are non All Stars to get a max that they really shouldn’t have received. He said there is no way he would give Franz the max because of his shooting.

I’m a big Franz guy, and I don’t believe he deserves a max. I think his upside is still enormous, so I hope we come together for a decent contract.

I am pretty confident they will come to an agreement.  He still has so much upside as you said. I think the way thing ended will light a fire under him. He took that loss hard. He just needs to be a league average three point shooter again.

Dwight lobbying to come back and finish his career where it started. While the nostalgia of him coming back home for game 6 was amazing, I don’t trust him to be a good veteran influence on our locker room.

If Dwight could teach some of our bigs to rebound, block, and defend, he might be worth the vet minimum; especially if we lose one of them through trade or free agency. I do think he has done quite a bit of growing up, especially the year with the Lebrons; and if he is a problem, you just waive him. On a vet minimum it’s not a big loss. It might be a worthwhile gamble. A pairing of Dwight and JI as the C/PF off the bench could be scary

I actually would love this. I think his days of being disruptive in the locker room are behind him and I bet he could still defend the paint at a good level. That plus his experience plus the nostalgia would make it really fun

Just a question? Why does so many think Jett is our savior for shooting. Is he doing something in the G league ?

Take the time out and go watch his highlights... Savior no...but i am absolutely sure he is gonna a big part of us going forward.

I’m surprised about the Dwight talk with his major off the court issues in recent years.

I agree. I think there's 0% chance we sign Dwight and bring him into our locker room.
