It's entirely possible we never wanted Huff as a 2 way but more that we thought we needed a good C for summer league to help development and he likewise thought it was a good spot to showcase himself. But I liked him so this kind of sucks.

Report: Kings, Magic, Lakers and Cavaliers interested in Cameron Johnson - The Dunk Central

“While the [Sacramento] Kings, [Orlando] Magic and [Los Angeles] Lakers are interested, one recent report claimed the [San Antonio] Spurs, [Toronto] Raptors or [Golden State] Warriors could be a ‘dark horse,’ wrote NBA insider Brian Lewis.”

I just don’t see how Cam Johnson fits. I like our rotation wings more than him, and we can’t afford to trade a guard for another wing.

I'm in the same boat now. Would rather see what we've got in TDS and Jett.

I think our roster is set for the time being. Let’s let the guys play for a few months to see what we really have. We have enough assets to make a move down the line if it’s needed.

The last bit of news for The Magic is Suggs Extension.

Time to go into hibernation for about three months, at least from a basketball perspective.

Making a move for a point guard has been long overdue, so let’s just kick that can down the road till eternity. Stadium is full, we good.

I think we are going to keep this team together, but it’s interesting that we could really be aggressive on the trade market and still have a deep team.

But we’ll probably only see this scenario if we regress somewhat or a great possibility presents itself at the deadline

We could package Cole, G. Harris and WCJ and attach picks to get

- Simons or Markannen

- or another trade to upgrade

I‘d probably be super aggressive and swing a deal right now. Bring in Simons already! Also im still high on Okoro amd T. Jones for our team

I don’t see the move right now. I understand your point though and we are mostly on the same page. We will most likely need a PG that can shoot. Who would be your targets for discussion? It’s the slow time of year. lol

Franz Wagner played today. Solid game once again. Once again, great at attacking the rim, trash from Beyond the arc and did nothing in between!

He desperately needs an offseason to add to his bag. pretty one dimensional and the Cavs exploited that in game 7

Franz Wagner ranked 10th for Olympic Players

2024-25 estimated projections:

Offense: +2.6 | Defense: +0.5 | Overall: +3.1

ger.png&w=110&h=110&transparent=true

Estimated RAPTOR loves Wagner, who also showed up surprisingly high in our first-round NBA playoffs player rankings.

But it isn't every day when a 22-year-old hits the benchmarks that Wagner reached last season. He joined Jayson Tatum, Kevin Durant, Tracy McGrady and Kevin Garnett as the only players since the 1976 NBA-ABA merger to rank in the 60th percentile of NBA players or better in points per 100 possessions, assist rate, turnover rate, rebound rate and defensive RAPTOR.

In that context, Wagner's massive recent contract extension was no surprise, and it's going to be exciting to see what he does alongside his brother Moritz and fellow NBA players Dennis Schroder and Daniel Theis on the German national team.
