This hurts, but the negativity is out of control. Franz had a bad game, but he’s still young and will learn from this.

Anybody who doesn’t think his poor performance and our teams poor performance in the second half won’t eat at them all off season is crazy.

Exactly... well said

give it a rest mate. they are kids

Exactly! They are still very young. That is what makes this season a complete success and makes the future even more bright moving forward! We won the division. Almost won 50 games. Nearly finished in the top 4 in the Conference. And went 7 games in a first round series after being down 0-2. Plenty to look forward to!

These young guys did better in the playoffs than any of the Vuc/AG/Fournier teams. Need to keep growing and make a guard addition

We will grow from this. A lot of learning will be had. Specially how important home court is.

Yes indeed! All part of the process. If someone told me two years ago that we would win nearly 50 games, win the division, and be in a game 7 in a first round series I would have signed up for that any day of the week!

There’s nothing to pinpoint from today or call anyone out over. We overachieved this season, we overachieved this postseason too. These kids are incredible and they gave us a treat this year. The only thing I’m sad about is we won’t get to see em again for 5 months… the holes on our team are crystal clear and were confirmed over and over again and we have the means to address them. We now also have postseason experience all over this squad which is only gonna help going forward. I’d honestly rather go out fighting in 7 games in a dogfight series than get swept by Boston next round. Cleveland is gonna get steamrolled by them.

When your 2nd and 3rd best option on O combine for 3-28, it’s just impossible to win a game 7 on the road. They’ll learn from it, and they’ll come back even better… and I can’t freakin wait

In all the games we won we hit at least 12 3's. In all the games we lost we didn't. And I believe all 3 games where we did was at home. Essentially today's game was lost at the end of the first half when they cut an 18-point lead down to 10 before halftime.

And we made what 6 threes in the first half too. We came out of the locker room and forgot how to put the ball in the basket. I bet Franz and Jalen were TIRED

I feel like Franz was just worn down from playing for Germany last summer. It was really apparent in the second half of the season and into the playoffs. I hope he gets the point of that.

Exactly. And ofcourse all of Jalen’s energy is spent on defending top tier players. Can’t expect him to drop 20 every game as well. He was phenomenal on defense over these 7 games. In fact I even thought he tore his ACL but he came back with a vengeance.

KC Magic is a down voting Pu**y.  I am with YOU Jay!

Nah that was all me and I’ll own up to it. Jay just talks out of his a$& and doesn’t back anything up with facts or stats. Quick to call out fans who oppose his crazy takes too.

I will preface this by saying that it’s not the reason we lost, but the officiating from mid 2nd quarter on, pretty much right after Bickerstaff lost the challenge, was so Cleveland biased it was insane. Suggs and Harris were playing the same D they played all series and all of a sudden they started calling ticky tack ****. Frustrating in a game 7 to lose the consistency and let the refs control the game. 66 free throw attempts between the 2 teams is not basketball anyone wants to watch.
