An average player with a superstar whistle. If we get Lakers vs Celtics in the Finals for the thousandth time I’m going to be sad, but it’s trending that way. Go Nuggets I'm pulling hard for the Nuggets to win it all. It was unreal the way the Lakers were able to win each series with the help of the refs. The number of foul calls in favor of the Lakers were so ridiculous. The way the Warriors were bumped by a Laker player when fighting through screens and the foul was called against the 'Dub'. LeBron was at his usual, bulldozing his way to the basket and drawing fouls. And, of course, Davis was rewarded mightily with free throws. Edit: Game 1 - Lakers 12 fouls; Warriors 24 fouls
CTMagicUK 1,304 Report post Posted May 15 Harden and Embiid combined for more turnovers than made field goals in game 7. Two players made for each other. Both foul baiting playoff chokers. Embiid over Jokic for MVP was a crime. The Magic went to the conference finals more recently than the 76ers.
Mauro Pedrosa 989 Report post Posted May 15 Embiid will have a tough time being a #1 on a real contender when you have wings like Tatum who are super dynamic and dominate him on both ends of the court. I understand he was somewhat hurt, but Embiid couldn't create his own basket to save his life. Regarding Ayton, I think that Mavs fans would like to see a trade for him using Kleber and salary fillers, and I think it would be great for the Suns. The Suns need to copy the Celtics. 3 and D guys to help their star wings

Soul Bro 1,325 Report post Posted May 15 I think Mosley has done a solid job. It’s hard to take raw players/ingredients and make something special. His patience, energy and team-centered culture have been good for the young guys. This year will prove whether he’s a contending coach or a developmental coach, in my opinion. There’s now proof that he can’t be the first, second, or third option on a championship team. Probably will be nothing more than a guy who’s legacy is that he can be the best player on a bad team. I think we’d all (or at least most) agree Mosley probably won’t be the guy when we’re at championship contention, but that doesn’t mean we make the move now. Making the move now completely tanks the chemistry we’ve been working so hard on building the past few years.

Knowing mismatches and player rotations during games, is something Mosely is really bad at. And these traits defines winning coaches from losing coaches. id rather win. And chemistry whatever that is, is built through winning.

Or you swing for the experienced coach that wants nothing but to win too quickly and it backfires and you wind up slowing the rebuild by years, kind of like we did with Frank Vogel.

And chemistry whatever that is, is built through winning. That's my same concern, and the market of great coaches will not probably be so full of options in the future. At the same time, I understand that right now, would be a difficult decision to make, especially considering how the FO usually act/react. Even if they don't want to change the coach, that I could understand, there's no excuse to not add top assistants (shooting? in game decision?) to improve in the future.
