All Eyes On Me 1,194 Report post Posted January 16, 2023 Markelle played too few minutes. I was yelling at the end of the 2nd and the end of the 4th about why he wasn’t in the game. Nuggets re-loaded their entire starters against our bench for 2 minutes of play in the 4th. CTMagicUK 1,475 Report post Posted January 16, 2023 Losing on a step back 3 from the back to back reigning MVP against the team with the best record in the NBA on the last leg of a 5 game west coast trip is about as much as you can possibly hope for without actually winning. You play like that every time out you win more games than you lose. The NBA is too long a regular season to dwell on individual wins and losses for too long. We've got some days off now, hopefully we get some rest, work on some of our issues and come out even better next game. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Luke_FfS 247 Report post Posted January 16, 2023 Those last two L's has been disappointing, but only for the outcome. Winning in Utah was certainly easier than in Denver, but we had a shot in both games. Too bad we still lack little details, like rebounding as it was pointed out, but we were into those games and I like the direction we have with that new starting lineup, even if we're not in a winning streak like with the previous ones. Some choices on the second unit still bafflles me tough, for example Bamba was finisher last game, and this time... Team is finding consistency, coaching staff should help even more on that.
