OFFICIAL GAME THREAD - Magic vs Pacers - April 25th, 2021

Recommended Posts

Worst injury luck, most snakebit BS season ever. Don’t know what we did to deserve it, but this is out of control... thoughts out to DC, just not fair man...

Also, shoutout to Mo.. the wherewithal and the compassion for his teammate to be there for him right away and to take off his jersey and shield Cannady from his open fracture shouldn’t go unnoticed.

Agreed, nice job with the quick thinking on Mo's part!

Update is that it’s an open fracture to his right ankle that will require surgery. We won’t be seeing him any time soon

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of.  I hope he eventually recovers enough to get back.

Man hoping for the best for Cannady. That was awful. Really hope he can recover from this. Shout out to Mo for being a compassionate team mate and then managing to play on after seeing that. He honestly looked like he'd seen a ghost immediately after.

This season is *****ing cursed honestly.

Not going to be critical of the team in this one since they were playing after one of our guys went down and that can't have been easy to do.

They actually played fairly well after it happened - it was close at half-time. We've been coming out flat in the third the last few games, though, and then spend the rest of the game fighting uphill.

Yeah, it’s what happens when a team doesn’t have any vet presence to stabilize it during runs like this. Gary Harris has been the only guy on the team that’s been in the league for over 4 years getting burn right now. Everyone else playing is either on a rookie deal, a 2 way deal, a 10 day deal, or Dwayne Bacon
