While I agree, I think either would be great consolations. I’m maybe the lowest on Suggs, because I don’t think he has much positional versatility, but I still think any of those top 4 could wind up being the best player in the draft.

Getting one of them, or even Suggs would be awesome. I think any of those three would come in right away and make an impact for our young nucleus.

Yeah for sure, They're not bad consolation prizes at all I just have my heart set on Cade or Green!

I'm starting to warm on Mobley, finally watched some highlights again. watched only one months ago. He looks a ton like Isaac, just slightly more filled out and less raw on offense. Nice touch, moves like a forward, which is what  he would be the first two years. Does not have enough weight to play center,  would  have to limit his time defending real 5's. Would make an intriguing front court with Isaac and WCJ kept on the cheap to play against heavier centers.

I don't have a problem with Mobley, but the last time a Center was the finals MVP/best player on a championship team was 2005 - Tim Duncan. And he spent most of his career playing more PF. Before that you go back to Shaq in 2000-2002, but even those years were with an up-and-coming Kobe.

Centers just aren't as important as they used to be. Yes, you have a couple of top teams with centers as key players; Gobert in Utah, Embiid in Philly, Jokic in Denver, and they are all doing it differently. Only Gobert might be classified as a "traditional", back-to-the-basket player. This has become the era of the wing player. I just don't think Mobley helps us that much, and if you pick him you probably need to move Bamba or Carter, neither of which will net you a top, young SF/SG type of player.
