Completely disagree... Markelle Fultz should be used like he was in college and it’s ridiculous that 75% of the time the offensive play call has him giving up the ball as soon as he crosses half court and never touch it again... The lineups with DJ at point with Markelle at the 2 are ridiculous and I’m sure the offensive efficiency is horrid... I’d be curious how many catch and shoot threes Ross has taken this year...?  The down screen with a flare out turn and shoot is not what I mean either—it’s predictable and Ross is horrible once the ball is in his hands and he’s not shifting... He should be on an opposite side of PR that creates spacing for Fultz or even Fournier to drive... The team isn’t being put in a position to score and ultimately win...

Clifford is an objectively good coach who rates really well in all facets of the game.

We can talk about rotations but every fan base complains about their coaches rotations. Coaches use the regular season to test lineups out. They need a thorough sample to know if lineups work or not. This is something every coach does when they're trying to figure roster fit.

One stat is not a definitive statement but over 20 turnovers resulting in 18 pts off of turnovers in a seven pt game is huge! Nurse has the Raps playing hard nose physical basketball and they’re record reflects that

I don’t think he’s a bad coach, I think he’s foolish in his assessment of how to coach this teams offense...  Testing lineups is one thing, but this hasn’t been a one time thing—this has been routine and you yourself said the numbers are bad... I don’t have a suggestion for a better coach that comes to mind, but I think it would be wise for him to turn the offensive coaching over to someone else... It’s flawed...

Clifford is highly thought of by his players because he's methodical and measured in his coaching. He gives guys a lot of chances. The positives of that thought process are what we saw at the end of last year. The negatives are believing in guys like DJ past their usefulness because they were good last year.

His offense isn't the problem.

Playing DJ is the problem.

Isaac being 22 is the problem.

Gordon having a bad first game back is the problem.

Ross earning a role that he's not living up to is the problem.

Sounds like I picked a good one to miss.

Losing a game where Siakam goes 4-22 and the opponent scores 90 seems pretty bad.

You missed a bad Isaac game. Fultz was pretty sloppy. Probably one of his worst games which is a positive in itself.

Bamba looked promising though

Yeah my buddy texted me to just delete the recording so I figured there were very few positives.

It wasn't that bad. Defense was on point. Lot of shots rimmed out which caused guys to start abandoning the offense which resulted in over dribbling which made the offense even worse.

Same stuff as always. We struggle creating against physical teams and we look good with fultz in but as soon as he gets subbed out the offense dies. Except he got stripped a few times this game.

Yes.  I think this was a good one to miss.  Another game where we looked like we had a good chance at the end of the first half only to wilt in the second.  Somewhat similar to the Detroit game except we had a bigger lead after the first half tonight.  You get your hopes up only to watch things unravel.

Sorry True , but dj has to go. Can’t guard can’t drive anymore he has regressed badly this year.

I know, Fan. It's sad but true. I can't disagree with you about him.

You notice I've been quiet. I don't know what to say, not just about DJ but guys like Ross and company who turned it up last season to make it to the playoffs.

I am really disappointed in DJ and Ross.   zQMnPI.jpg

Edit: And then there is Fournier, dribbling the ball twice off his foot. I have never seen that done by a player on another team--kicking the ball maybe--but not dribbling the ball off their foot.
