I love Dipo, but he had one good season then has been injured since.

The injury doesn’t negate how improved he is/became since leaving Orlando

Not to mention that Dipo isn't wildly different or that much better than when he left... just more mature, experienced and definitely more hyped.

Dipo is a better offensive player.

Gordon gets such a ****ty hand from us fans. Even if he only is Ariza or Iguodala every winning team needs that guy.

Don’t think anyone is ****ting on him. Just saying we are reaching to that point where he is what he is.

I wouldn’t call him AI.

Has AG stopped practicing and working hard to try and get better? Have you? I don't think we know who anyone is, including ourselves, until they/we stop trying. AG is working his butt off and I still believe he will become more consistent with his shot. That said, I think he would excel in a different offense, like Miami, where the slashing concept would benefit AG’s aggressive style.

Agree. It seems he’s not good taking threes off the dribble and he doesn’t get enough cuts in the offense. I’d like him to be more of a set shooter but I think that’s more of a Clifford criticism than AG criticism.

Working hard usually trumps talent sure but I’m not knocking AG. Actually I’d be happy if we kept him. He’s a good solid 3rd option who gives you a above average defense.

Funny thing about AG is I think he’d be made into a star under guys like Pop or Kerr. Probably not as a first option but he’d be used to his maximum ability.

Maybe. I don’t know. I do think Vogel did a disservice to AG with the whole Paul George thing. Ignoring strengths to develop new ones isn’t smart. AG is not PG. it’s not in his DNA.

In other news, the Trailblazers and Nets are in serious trouble. You’ve got to believe they’re pounding the pavement for trades.

Agreed on the Blazers, not as sure on the Nets. I think they knew there was a chance their season could go like this and if they wind up with a lotto pick they can deal for a star to make a big 3 when Durant gets back next year, I think that’ll be their play.

Making shots in practice and making them in games are two different things.

Quote

O’Neal says he did practice when he was in the league. He practiced a lot.

“I tried to make 200 a day,” he said. “And then when I got really big time and was able to build gyms in my house, I shot all the time. But there’s a difference between playing craps at your house with your boys and going to Mr. Cordish’s casino and playing craps. When I’m by myself I shoot like Steve Kerr. But it’s just something about when I’m in a game, there’s pressure, I just tighten up.”

apparently Dwight was making 82% of his free throws in practice
