Also I don’t see why GS would ever take that

There has probably been over 100 posts on this board about a Vuc Russell swap. Just playing on that... maybe we give them aminu/dj too. Those would be 2 players that fit way better with curry klay and green than Russell.

Why so skeptical on Dinwiddie? He's not a great defender but he's got good size and addresses several needs (ball-handling, free throw attempts, can get hot). My only fear with him is that he's on a short deal and could walk pretty soon.

I'm not skeptical. I like him. I'm just not sure he's better than Gordon for us. I'm not sure we can play fultz-Dinwiddie lineups given the lack of success fultz-augustin lineups have provided even though they should work. And dinwiddie isn't a great off ball player given his below average shooting.

And Harris is good but I'm not sure he's considerably different than Ross. And he's not better than Fournier given fournier's ability to actually do something other than shoot. So that trade is effectively trading a starter for two bench guys and I'm not really a fan of that.

I think it's a fair deal. I'm just not sure it's a smart deal. And I'm not really a fan at this point of trading 1 guy for a return of two players because we're past that point. We have enough depth. We have 11 functional NBA caliber rotation players plus Bamba. Getting more depth doesn't help us.

The next major trade is going to happen in the next 3 months. I don't want to move Gordon for lesser stuff if he can be used as a trade piece in that deal or just as a player we keep.

Dinwiddie is at risk of having his contract terminated if he goes through with his stupid investment plan which is currently being denied by NBA legal counsel.  So I get this is hypothetical but any team should wait that out before touching him with a 10 foot pole.

That doesn't concern me at all TBH.
