Wait I thought trump was supposed to be at odds with the deep state? Seems like he’s following orders by sounding the alarms

also your first article is showing why the death rate is higher and why it’s preferentially killing older people...because older people are likelier to have Comorbid Disease . The United States is far from a fit and healthy country.

and the reason South Korea is doing better is because they tested form the beginning. we have a complete shortage of tests..I should know, I’ve been sending people to get tested. We are making up for lost time because we DIDNT act quick enough. This whole shutdown wouldn’t be necessary if we actually did the right thing from January onward. Now we’re making up for last time with draconian measures.

China notified the government back in December of this. His first response was fine. Just Trump like. It was abrasive to those who are panicking.

America has its issues but we are not Italy. We do not have the same health care. We also have a large group of the population that eats healthfully, exercises, and takes care of their immune system and unlike China and other areas our sanitation is pretty regulated.

South Korea isn’t just testing better. They are treating it better unlike Italy and their shady ass healthcare system. And the great thing is, they aren’t even on our level of healthcare and capacity to treat.

No, the draconian ways weren’t and aren’t needed. Shutting down NBA and such yeah, but a complete lockdown, hoarding all the toilet paper, buying up all the food and water is not. Those articles weren’t written by me. They were written by Virologists, Biologists, and Physicians. I’ll find more if you like.

Or those people were sick and just didn’t get tested.

Hopefully, these new quicker tests will help. The goal is to have these ready by the end of the month.

His response wasn’t fine. We didn’t have enough tests, he had already cut the CDC funding by 80%, already had disbanded the pandemic team set up before him, called this a hoax, said it’s under control and the numbers would go down to 0. He didn’t order enough medical equipment, and didn’t order enough tests.

We are a much bigger country than Italy and we have are fair share of unhealthy people here. Saying otherwise is completely misleading.

South Korea treated the situation better. Everyone is treating patients the same since there is no cure right now besides trying medicines that may work and putting people on vents.  They stockpiled tests (unlike us), isolated those infected, and when those people got sick, they had enough health care personnel to manage them because they stopped the spread early.

Draconian measures SHOULDNT have been needed if we took action from December. But we didn’t. And now we’re making up for lost time.

this is an epic fail by the federal government.

Yeah and I expect the numbers to rise a lot next few weeks not because of the virus spreading like crazy like the media wants people to think but because of testing. Then the numbers will start to level out and decrease.

Uh, those go hand in hand. The number of tests will detect rising numbers because it is spreading like crazy. You can’t have one without the other.

i think I got my point across to you. If anyone else has questions I’d be happy to answer.

His response was fine because it was the opposite of the fear mongering by media.

I’m not aware of the funding cuts so I can’t comment on that. If it is, then I agree.

I haven’t nor I am I saying we are smaller country thats full of nothing but healthful centennials drinking açaí and green tea. I’m saying our health care is far superior to the single payer version in Italy and is better equipped.

So you’re telling me everyone who has it has been tested and any new cases will be new cases? Come on

Your ignoring many physicians and virologists who say otherwise. You are also ignoring data that proves this to be not true.

I’m telling you we’re far behind on testing. Once testing is up to date the numbers will skyrocket BECAUSE ITS SPREADING LIKE CRAZY.

oh please do not say physicians and virologists are saying otherwise. The overwhelming majority of physicians and virologists would shake their head at your statements. Maybe because I work with so many. So please continue to tell me what I see at work lol

His response wasn't fine. And your not aware of those cuts because you didnt do the research.
