So antsy for ball. We have a good chance of having a really strong finish to the season with the weaker schedule. Can we parlay that into a 7th seed or is that not happening? Don’t know how good Brooklyn is.

We're 2 games behind Brooklyn and play them 3 more times. The result of those games will ostensibly be the deciding factor of what seed we get

Kyrie is out again with a shoulder injury.

Quote

NEW YORK -- Kyrie Irving continues to struggle with the shoulder injury that caused him to miss 26 games earlier this season and is scheduled to see another specialist this week, Nets coach Kenny Atkinson said.

"That's about all I can tell you," Atkinson said. "His shoulder continues to bother him. That's about the extent of it now."

Atkinson said Irving will be unavailable for Brooklyn's first game after the All-Star Break against the 76ers on Thursday. Irving was not at practice on Tuesday night.

Some of you may be too young to remember when Rosanne Barr screwed it up big time at a baseball game. . .hahaha, wooo!!! :)

And she's not singer.

No she's not, and it was truly awful - screechy, off-pitch, and her tonal quality sucked. I always wondered what idiot allowed that fiasco to begin with. It should never have even been scheduled!

Do you think Coach Cliff will tweak anything during our long break or let things ride for the rest of the season? Or, maybe I should ask, is there anything you would like Coach Cliff to tweak, and if so, what?

I'd love for us to play a lot more through Fultz and Gordon, and give Bamba a few more minutes a game and some more responsibility. I don't think this will happen though, I think Cliff will go with what he knows, he'll rely on Vuc and Evan to try and make the playoffs again (I think we make them either way, I actually think we'd be better off in the short term transitioning to more of Fultz and definitely a whole lot better in the long term).

So on Friday we play the Mavericks at home.   Fatigue won’t be an issue.  Rust could be, but it should be the same for every team.

We’ve had a lot of trouble this year against teams with winning records.  It would be nice to start to change that with this game.  A win Friday night would be a great start to the last third (or so) of the season.

I'll go even further, I would like to see him sit Evan for the fourth quarter and go with Fultz/MCW at the point, with Ross/Iwundu at the 2. I would like to see a bit more of Ennis as well. I would like to see this line-up at some point.

Fultz/Ross/Ennis/Gordon/Birch - just because Birch is the only guy on the team who can set a decent screen most of the time. Sub Bamba in that line-up, and you leave him out at the 3-pt line, run pick & roll with Gordon/Fultz, or running Ross off of staggered screens. I think we could be so much better with a motion offense.

Sorry to bring it up again after the thread has moved on, but I wanted to share my thought on the dunk contest. Obviously, AG got robbed for the second time, no question about it. But does anyone really, REALLY care who wins that contest? Is that what really matters? Because I think most people remember specific magical dunks much more than they remember who took the trophy home. AG's dunks in 16 and this year will be remembered for a long, long time. They will be watched on YouTube 800 million times and shared on social media forever. I don't think anyone really looks back and cares who actually won. The best dunks get remembered, not the winner.

So, yeah, it sucks seeing our guy get screwed, especially when he clearly invested so much energy and passion into it. But I don't think it was a wasted effort by any means. His dunks will be remembered, DJJ and Lavine's will be lost in the sands of time.
