Alright guys, I want your opinions! I am about to get my first jersey and am stumped on whether to go with Fultz or Isaac. Probably going to be my only jersey for the foreseeable future, so I want to get someone who may be more likely to be around a bit longer. Who should I go with here?

I think the question with Isaac will be his durability.  He’s now missed most of two out of three of his nba seasons.   The most recent injury didn’t seem to be related to heavy contact or a fall.  It was more that he stepped the wrong way.

Will this come to an end starting next season or does his build predispose him to repetitive injuries?   At this point unfortunately I think it’s an open question.

Orlando’s 105.5 offensive rating is easily the worst mark of any playoff team, ranking 26th overall in the NBA. However, asked by Josh Robbins of The Athletic if the Magic will prioritize acquiring offensive-minded players going forward, president of basketball operations Jeff Weltman suggested it isn’t quite that simple.

“I think we’ve already done that. I just think that they’re young,” Weltman said.Jonathan Isaac is going to be a good offensive player. Mo Bamba’s going to be a good offensive player. Chuma Okeke is going to be a good offensive player. We’re trying to get two-way players. The trick is to not get guys who are just good offensive players. So I don’t think we look at it like, ‘This year we draft an offensive player.’ We try to draft good basketball players.”

Thanks for that. It helps me understand what the heck we are trying to do. Now some of the things Fultz4thewin has been saying makes more sense to me.

Vucevic would be just as tradable on a one year 17 million contract. It's the commitment that cuts teams off the list

And what they’re giving up.

When I say no one wants said player, I’m not saying they wouldn’t take him, you’re not going to get anything substantial back.

There are 29 other teams in the NBA that can fit Fournier in some capacity. Vuc is the much harder fit as the more his volume drops off, the less useful he is to you.

Seriously, once he signed that contract i knew we were screwed. That said i like Vuc and always valued him on his old contract. He will probably put up his 20 and 10 the  whole contract. He can be valuable, we just have to run some line-ups next year with Isaac at the 5. Will he be ok with that? If he doesn't pout we can make it work.

Basically i think we are stuck with him, unless we can get a dysfunctional team to take him.

Had to edit, i think there was a small chance to unload him to the Kings,Hawks and Hornets. Still one team left.

I hope Okeke is good because Thybulle and Clarke are looking like big impact guys.

Sure. Best case scenario is you hope you can find someone looking to get off 2021 money so they can be players in free agency while not suffering a significant drop off in offensive production.

Eh. You might want to temper your expectations. He's got significant upside but he's probably going to be something like a more productive Joe Ingles or a Morris brother without the baggage and a higher basketball IQ.
