With the right supporting cast I think he could be a number 1 option on offense. Say if we swapped him with Vooch.. AG and Isaac could cover his defensive shortcomings. Team defence etc etc.

That was one of my first comments right after the Ibaka trade, smh. And the coaches / front office didn't even have the balls to give it a try

Skiles just quit because hennigan wouldn't acquiesce to his vision. 

Vogel comes in with a team whose success was built around this 8 man playoff rotation:

CJ Watson- scola- Mahinmi. 

So we tried to build an analogous team to that one. The league had already begun changing. We as fans saw it but this was the trickle down of Skiles' tantrum.
