If Fultz is healthy and stays healthy, he's automatically 2 or 3x better than MCW. Thats already an improvement from last year and should be worth at least a couple of games, right?

Sure. I think the benchmark worst case scenario for a healthy fultz is something in the realm of third year Delon wright or basically A little worse than what SGA was last year. That's worth a few more wins over 70+ games when compared to last year though we might lose a few more games through injuries or just bad luck.

Best case scenario is second year Derrick Rose. If that happens we really have a legitimate path to the finals as definitively the 3rd best team in the east if we're fortunate in other areas and get help along the way.

Most likely (optimistic) scenario is he's something resembling a young oladipo. Makes a bunch of mistakes, flashes on both sides. Scores in the low double figures depending on his opportunities. Struggles at times finishing and shooting but ultimately giving you reason to believe he's a good player worth betting on long term.

We probably win a couple more games last year with ANY non-Jerian Grant PG.  Even if all Fultz does is get the offense started before 14 on the shot clock, we probably win like 3 more games.

Saw this just a few minutes ago

Quote

Clifford did like what he saw from point guard Markelle Fultz, who participated in his first official Magic practice. Clifford was especially impressed with Fultz’s ballhandling skills.“He’s hard to keep out of the paint,” Clifford said. “He’s so good with the ball. He doesn’t need a lot of room and he’s very, very clever.”Fultz said he was more than ready to get back out on the floor and get back to having fun playing basketball.“It wasn’t any nerves. Just a lot of excitement,” he said.

We are either going to come out of the gate swinging with haymakers or end up getting knocked on our faces lol. Either way this is going to be an exciting season! If Fultz stays healthy all year and the core guys take another step in their games we will definitely be serious contenders this year coming out of the East starting with our defense.
