We can't really take back Hayward in a trade for Brown because you have to extend Brown. We'd be at $140ish million for 11 guys the following season with no backup point guard. Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted September 26, 2019 Basically a trade for Brown has to be just for Brown with the way our money is long term with Isaac and fultz extensions on the horizon. And in theory you'd also want to dump Fournier but that can wait until the summer. Essentially you want to end up in a situation where you're only paying 8 figure money to the 5 starters and a 6th man. The rest should be manageable contracts and guys on rookie deals.
