Shine88 73 Report post Posted July 24, 2019 David Baumann @DavidBaumannORL Source: Daquan Jeffries ( @daquan_jeffries ) recently turned down a two-way offer from @OrlandoMagic , however, it is expected that he will compete for a Magic roster spot in camp. Team impressed with his versatility and Summer League performance. #PureMagic

But he just turned 21 and is starting to flash some things. Might be a late bloomer. Does this mean we’re not signing vooch? Oh wait.

TrueMagicFan07 651 Report post Posted July 24, 2019 About Adam Humphries' Signing: league sources told foxsports.com.au. Source: Fox Sports "The Exhibit 10 contract was introduced in the most recent Collective Bargaining Agreement, with Humphries’ best-case scenario being if he makes the Magic’s 15-man roster. The next best: a two-way deal. If Humphries attends camp and is waived before the regular season begins, then he’d be designated to the Magic’s NBA G-League affiliate, the Lakeland Magic. If that scenario pans out and Humphries spends 60 days with the club, then he’ll receive a $50,000 bonus." https://www.foxsports.com.au/basketball/nba/isaac-humphries-signs-exhibit-10-deal-with-orlando-magic-sources/news-story/abde8e2cafe9be6f9bc7eb05a2305f62 So, isn't it possible that the plan is to set up a path where Humphries will end up in the Magic's NBA G-League (in Lakeland)? Yeah. He's going to either take Jefferson's two way spot or he'll just be on the g-league team.

TrueMagicFan07 651 Report post Posted July 24, 2019 In other words, does it mean that Jeffries could end up in a similar situation as Humphries? Meaning he could end up on the g-league team. Something he wants to avoid.
