But Fournier and Mozgov bring in immediate big cap #'s that would prevent that from happening, along with a massive loss in talent.

The idea would involve a 3rd team that would take on Mozgov’s salary and get a pick for doing so. Opens up the cap space for Russell this year and gets them out of a ton of Wiggins future money

If we trade Bamba for Brown we’d officially be a joke.

If Bamba does get traded (which kills me because I love Bamba) it better be for a good proven scorer or a young guy who has just as much potential. Like a Gary Harris or Jamal Murray type (not those guys I know neither are happening just that mold).

Trading Bamba now has Oladipo written all over it.

A lot of smart people think Brown is being hampered by his role in Boston. Look at his playoff numbers. He's one of the most efficient scorers.

When you're looking for guys who go from role players to star players these are the signs you look for.

And if he's not that guy he's just an Evan Fournier who can actually play defense which is also good

Mozgov and Minny #1 pick would go to a third team for this scenario to work then it is workable.

If the 4th year is a team option this isn't the end of the world and doesn't necessarily mean a Bamba trade.

Year 1 of Vuc deal, Bamba plays 10-12 mpg and rising to 16-18 on nights where he's affecting the game.

Year 2 of Vuc deal, Bamba plays 14-18 mpg rising to 20-24 on nights where he's playing really well as well as potential for them to share the floor for like 2 mins a game as an experiment.

Year 3 if it's looking like Bamba is the real deal Vuc is essentially an expiring and Bamba is in the last year of his rookie deal so you make Mo the starter and see if he's got what it takes to be a real star. Vuc might be ok with coming off the bench at this point at 31 but if he's not he's an expiring 7 foot ex all star he won't be that hard to move.

Saying that if it's a flat 4 years throw this out of the window and I have no idea.

If we didn't have Fultz on the roster, would we be going hard at DLo? In hindsight, if you knew he'd be available as an UFA, do you still trade for Fultz or preserve that cap space to go for DLo?

***** this team! If we are doing this I expect some sort of shakeup. Trade for Brown or Wiggins or who ever else. If we are going to be in cap hell over Vooch then let's at least go all in!

Disagree. Isaac was much more promising in his rookie season than Mo was. He was more active, more engaged, and actually made a difference in our defense when he was there. Bamba didn't.

Here is a non biased evaluation on Bamba's rookie season.  Even stats show his play was much better than you describe.  Shows he has a ways to go offensively but defensively he was solid and did make a difference.  Stats do not lie.
