Tank Vogel Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 I could be about Keldon Johnson Quote
hootie249 Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 If we stay healthy and continue to play well i'm guessing we will move to the very end of the lottery. Its going to be tough predicting what the front office would do.. Seems like all the good wings and point guards are mocked to go in the first 12-14 spots. There are ton of big front court players projected from 10-20. I could see our front office drafting a PF/C and keeping the pick as insurance in case Vucevic leaves or bench depth. I would also give us about a 50% chance of trading the player we draft to someone in the 20's for a guard and a second round pick. Basically if we pick after 12 i do not see us taking a wing with our own pick, possibly in a trade. Quote

Nah after you get past Langford and Culver who should go somewhere between 4-7 the rest of the first round is basically the same level of prospect. I don't really think there's a big difference of drafting a guy like Coby White at 14 or 24. So if we think we need a wing there's always someone available. But sure we might fall in love with Brandon Clarke or something. Quote
Fultz4thewin Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 Ultimately after thinking about it I think we're going to draft Brandon Clarke. It will piss off the fan base but he's the only guy that's exceptional at something available where we're drafting Quote

I am not up to speed with college ball right now He's a 6'8 4/5 high energy guy who can kind of be better version of Birch but also play 4 because he's got a solid 15 foot jumper. He's shooting 70% on twos. Leading the nation in fg%. But he's not just a role player. Scores 17 ppg. Quote

I wouldn't worry about where guys are slotted right now. This is gonna be like 2016 where we were projected to get deyonta Davis at 10 but he went 31 overall Quote

Tank Vogel Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 If Bamba is a 35% 3 shooter and Fultz is what we think he is then you can have an AG/Isaac/Clarke defensive monster on the court at all times and a Fournier/Ross 3pt specialist at SG. Quote
