CTMagicUK 1,459 Report post Posted June 23, 2019 I'm excited about Jeffries. Think he'll compete with Frazier for a roster spot. Think the two other UFAs are just camp fodder. It's interesting that those two other guys are both from Northwestern, wonder if that's just a coincidence or if there's something about the style of play of that program that WeltHam likes. He has a decent chance to make the roster. Another one we should watch is Kendall Stephens from Nevada.....92% FT shooter, 43% 3pt shooter this year. 6'6" or 6'7" guard with 6''11" inch wingspan. It was either FanSided or Bleacher report that listed him as one of 6 undrafted free agents that could make a difference. G league material?

He played in Spain this past year.

Actually, he barely played there, due to bad performances. Played only 5 games of the first 16, with 3 points, 1,5 reb, 1,2 ass. His contract was rescinded in January, then in May he signed in Australia.
argentinaworldchampion 32 Report post Posted June 26, 2019 I missed the draft and the past 20 days of actions Did we pick only one guy (PF with injured knee) and traded our 2nd rounder? I was trying to see draft recaps but couldnt find a decent one

Our second rounder we traded for a future second rounder and cash.

But since he torn his ACL he was a reach. Hopefully he will return to 100%.

This isn't really a draft where you can reach for a guy. Most drafts guys are split into small tiers. This draft there's pretty much one large tier outside of the top 8 and there's no real consensus about draft order so you just grab the guy you like the best.
