So many forwards

I agree. Not sure what is happening. We dont have any true SG in our roster other than Fournier. It would have been nice to have one prospect in this position.

Okeke fits in long term ? Coming back from a torn ACL I believe ? Who knows how these things work out. He could wind up being a pleasant surprise when he eventually takes the court.

meh.. we can say the same thing about any of the players drafted. I like Okeke but not sure how he fit in our core with Isaac, AG and Bamba as our future SF, PF and Center. I guess he can be a core bench guy but I dont want to see Fournier any longer as our SG. He is currently our only SG.

I am cool with going with BPA.

On another note, just watched the Weltman presser and he said that the time table for an ACL projects Okeke to return during the season, but they will be patient and not rush him back. I was excited to hear that. I thought for sure he was out for the season. Maybe not. Fingers crossed!

He will be out for the season. They will not rush him. I dont see them getting him back this season. He might play some games for the Lakeland magic.

Naz Reid. Young and Athletic center. He will be nice to have. He went undrafted. He was considered to be a late first rounder prior his injury.

Luguentz Dort is another guy(SG) we shoulder invite. He was also considered to be an early second rounder.

Jontay Porter: Good stretch 4/5. At 6'11''. He can pass and shoot the ball well.

Okeke isn’t the sexy pick..but I trust this management. The have a great track record picking in the middle of round 1 (Giannis at 15) and who knows..maybe he doesn’t last until 46 and you don’t want to lose out on your guy.

Not thrilled with another big..but I’m putting my trust in this FO. At least it isn’t Rob taking another big by throwing darts at a board.

The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers are potential landing spots for Nikola Vucevic if he's unable to agree to a new contract with the Orlando Magic. (per Woj)

Unsure where this nonsense about we have too many forwards keeps coming from, we essentially have AG, Isaac and nothing else of note. We lack massively on wing depth. This allows us to have a nice 3 man 3/4 rotation sorted by adding a solid two way player that fits the ethos of the front office in that he can defend multiple positions and he can score the ball as an added bonus. The 2020 draft is loaded at the 2 spot as well so can quite easily target one in the next draft.

It's very clear that the FO are aiming to have a solid lineup/team ready for the 2020/2021 season. They've said numerous times that they won't rush it. For me it's going to be hugely dependent on what they manage to do with Fournier's contract after next season and also on what Fultz actually is. Does that mean we could be worse next season, yes it does but I'm fine taking a small step back for a year in order to have a chance at sustained success with a pretty solid core that should keep developing and improving over time.

I did enjoy the vast majority of fans on Twitter reacting negatively to Okeke, 100% due to the simple fact that they hadn't heard this guy's name for a while.  Nevermind that he might be good.

Possible top 10 pick before the injury.  Swing for the fences pick.
