Lakers taking THT with our pick. He better not turn out good.

No doubt. But we are really good at kicking that can down the road. That future 2nd will be QUALITY. I’m sure. Smdh.

I’m so ticked about this, we pick my guy, but trade him.

It’s a second round pick. That’s not a guaranteed roster spot.

Right but you only want to use that pick if you have a spot for the guy.

We flipped this pick for a pick later on that we might be able to use better later.

It's just money.

When the team that drafted korver traded him to Philly they used the money for a new copier.

Lol is there a cap for how much money can be involved? Seems like a weird trade dynamic.

So, a guy that we could stick on Lakeland isn’t worth it. But in a few years maybe we could do the same dam thing. Got it.

I would rather stockpile talent and keep the ones you like and maybe they are better than your think tank thought.

It's hard to stick a guy on Lakeland because we don't keep their exclusive rights. So if you draft a second rounder and that second rounder ends up being really good a team can steal that player from you

THT will be a good replacement for Josh Hart. Lakers have been making a lot of solid picks late in the draft the past couple of years. I was hoping we could land a late round gem, but I'm happy with Okeke. He reminds me of combination between Kyle Kuzma and PJ Tucker.
