How does "money" work again in trades?

It's just money.

When the team that drafted korver traded him to Philly they used the money for a new copier.

Draft must have flattened out again?

We try to balance how many roster spots we take up with developmental guys. Right now we're a little heavy. Need more spots for vets.

As long as he got a future pick out of it that's fine.

Anybody care to guess who will be on our roster next year.  I am seeing us not have a whole lot of players on this roster going into FA.  Do not include Vuc please.  And Martin and Grant  at >$3million do not do much for me either.  Looks like Birch is needed.  Ross would be a nice resigning but I could see him going elsewhere for wither more money of enough money and a chance at a title.  It looks to me like we are going to be real young or our FO will be active in FA?

Interesting deadines and decisions coming up in the future

It’s a second round pick. That’s not a guaranteed roster spot.
