I'm not interested in trading him and throwing him into the rotation at all. 

I'm interested in obtaining an asset that we can develop with a talent that is rare. We have a 15 man roster. 10 guys play. 5 guys sit on the bench. Why is Birch or briscoe better to develop than Frank?

I’m all for Frank.

But if we do trade for him it’s not gonna be for him to be the 12th man on the roster that plays twice a month. 

Idk why the Knicks would trade him. I mean I get Fizdale doesn’t like him but he was the 8th pick a year ago and we all knew he was arguably the rawest player in the draft. I still like his upside.

I can't imagine he would be in the Birch/Briscoe corner, if you're bringing a guy like that I would think they would develop him through training and reps. I feel we're in a spot where we need to make a move that makes us better rather than postpone it. I'm not entirely opposed just more reluctant I guess.
