Here's every scenario:

We win, Brooklyn wins, doesn't matter what Detroit does because they max out at 41 wins. We get the 7th seed.

We win, Brooklyn loses we get the 6th seed.

We lose, Brooklyn wins, Detroit wins out we get the 8th seed

We lose, Brooklyn loses, Detroit wins out we get the 6th seed.

We lose, Detroit loses (Brooklyn doesn't matter) we get the 7th seed

So do we want Detroit to win to open up the second path to the 6th seed or do we want Detroit to lose to close off any path to the 8th seed?

i want to finish 6th.. or 8th

We want Detroit to lose, right? Because 100% chance for 7th with the outside chance of 6th is more preferable to a better chance at 6th but the option for 8th.

Yes

Don't really mind either team, but I think we have a shot at beating the Sixers

I think we have a legitimate shot at beating any team we play because even though we are a little inconsistent we have proven we can hang with the big boys. Not trying to bust on him (nobody is perfect), but I hope Augustine steps his game up. When he is on, he is fun to watch and can really make things happen.

Detroit loss, not being the 8th seed shows more progression I feel

I am deeply confused by your desire to see our team destroyed by Giannis.

Toronto games:

1. Lose at the last second to a healthy- if still gelling- Raptors

2. Win by blowout a healthy Raptors

3. Win by 15 over a Kawhi-less Raptors

4. Lose to Raptors

Philly:

1. Lose by one in a very close game- late Redick 3 pointer, then Gordon fouled and almost ties the game up.

2. Beat Philly by 5 with their shiny new toy Butler.

3. Lose by 8 to an Embiid-less 76er team.

4. Win by 21 to a Ben Simmons-less team.

This shows that with Philly and Toronto, we are at least able to keep it close when we play their full team, and we have the chance for a victory. We get destroyed by Milwaukee when they have Giannis.

Deeply confused? LOL Do not be deeply confused with having a different opinion to somebody else. It is fine.

He is not alone. I also think we can beat the Bucks. They are a good team but inexperienced and injured.

We are 1-2 against them.

1- october: lose by a lot. Early season game. We were bad. No defense. Bledsoe and Brogdon had a field. Giannis 21 points

2- january: lose by 10. No AG. Simmons our starting SF. Giannis 25 points.

3- February: win by 20 to a no Giannis team. Simmons nor Grant were part of the rotation.

I get it. Philadelphia might be an easier opponent as their bench is pretty depleted. But We should not be afraid of Milwaukee. Same goes with Toronto.

I dont care what position we end up but we should be able to get 1-2 games to any of the teams mentioned above.

If we end up at 8, we will have a better draft pick position as well.. lol.
