With Charlotte losing and when we win tomorrow we will be tied for 8th (but they own the tie breaker), and Miami losing to the Suns we have a little more space behind us. The dream is real, GO MAGIC!

It's been a great night! Now we need to take care of business tomorrow night and knock off the Knicks. It is especially important because our next game after that is against the Warriors.

Charlotte is about to nose dive, they have a really hard schedule and could easily go on a 4 game losing streak

Miami is gonna be right there with them. Losing to the Suns at home ? Ouch!

Yes we do! Hopefully our guys are as hungry for the playoffs as we are and they don't let up like they did with Chicago.

In other news Trae Young has 36 points against Houston on 12 for 19 shooting, 8 for 11 from downtown, 7 assists, and only 3 turnovers. Who is guarding him???

And he has a lot of room to improve. Such a tantalizing offensive talent

Agreed. I think we’re pretty settled in to a playoff spot, Miami, Charlotte and Washington are all gonna fall off. The question is can we catch the Nets or the Pistons and not have to deal with Giannis in the first round

He's exactly what a lot of us said he would be. His usage rate is ridiculous which means he will have the occasional game where he goes off like this, that's to be expected and most of the time this will be and has been on inefficient numbers especially playing on a bad team where none of the games mean anything. Can't defend whatsoever and that will never change as he doesn't have the physical tools so will always be a liability in playoff basketball. Also only shooting 32-33% from 3 which was meant to be one of his strengths. Still think he will have a nice career as a sixth man if/when he ends up with a playoff team as his passing is already very good and being able to score in bunches will have good value to teams trying to go far in a playoff series but I don't see him ending up as a top end PG leading his team deep into the playoffs with the defensive issues he'll always have.

Please please don't sleep on the Knicks. DSJ, Knox and Deandre. They are definitely better than they were before the trade deadline. Don't let down, Playoff bound.

Complacency kills playoff runs.  We’re not anywhere yet.

what is the tiebreaker between us and the hornets in an eventual 8 seed tie?

  • Better record in head-to-head games.
  • Division winner (this criterion is applied regardless of whether the tied teams are in the same division)
  • Higher winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
  • Higher winning percentage in conference games.

It would be fun to watch a winner-makes-the-playoffs match like Minnesota and Denver had
