Also, to build a succefull team you need to have good bench talent or you are going to fail miserable. Ross is a valuable role player who is needed by many teams, Including us. Hill got a future first and second round pick. Again, Valuable assests to either keep them or to use on another trade in the future. We have 6 picks in the next two drafts. Our mid-teen pick, Cleveland's second rounder that might be 31-34. Brooklyn's second rounder that is currently 36. Our pick next year, the OKC pick, our second. Two way guys who shoot like Ross are valuable and always in high demand. If we're in the position where we have interest from a superstar you know what we can do? Trade Ross! Because he's valuable! When you have more picks than roster spots you have excess supply. When you have excess supply you create market disequilibrium.
