matthi32 4 Report post Posted November 27, 2018 Would Brooklyn trade Russell or Dinwiddie and Harris for Ross and Grant? That would save them some cap to spend in the offseason. We could see the rest of the season how Russell or Dinwiddie fits our team. Harris would be Ross replacement with a fair contract. Otherwise I think Ross leaves us for nothing in the offseason. Salaries don't really work, so it would have to be something more like this. http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y94fd2np You'd be giving up a couple guys who could potentially be a big addition to Philly, but who have started out poorly this year in Fournier/Simmons; and getting back Wilson Chandler/Fultz. The deal would also work with Grant instead of Simmons, but I think Philly would prefer Simmons. Fournier could be their replacement for JJ Reddik, whose 35 and on an expiring. It would be a gutsy move that could blow up in either teams' face. Fultz starts to perform - Orlando looks like a genius, he doesn't - media says Orlando gets fleeced again. I think it's actually a chance worth taking. I would probably start Fultz at the SG playing with Augustin, and use Ross to sub in for Fultz, and then sub Fultz back in for Augustin; primarily a three-guard rotation. Augustin/Fultz/Grant/Briscoe Fultz/Ross/Iwundu Isaac/Chandler/Iwundu/Frazier Gordon/Isaac/Martin Vucevic/Bamba/Birch/Mozgov

Can't deal Harris until January 15th, and I'm not sure Brooklyn would do that deal. Depends on whether they think Russell should be part of their backcourt going forward. Catalina Maria 64 Report post Posted November 27, 2018 I don’t get the love for Fultz. He’ll be Payton all over again. Isn’t his 3-shot bad?

J-Mac 80 Report post Posted November 27, 2018 I honestly feel like T Ross would resign here, but for how much?
Okethree 76 Report post Posted November 27, 2018 If we could pull off a trade for Beal giving up our pick/fournier/Simmons I’d really like us signing dinwiddle in the offseason. Our guard rotation would be amazing especially if we can extend Ross. Dinwiddle/Augustine Beal/Ross
