Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted November 10, 2018 Minnesota really should have traded for Richardson when they had the chance considering the improvement he's made

They need off ball shooting and Augustin has more value as an off ball spacer and secondary ball handler than a primary point guard and they have our pick that they can flip with Chandler for another piece at the deadline. Fultz is a better defended and better point guard than Grant and would do better trying to rehab here as we shockingly have better spacing than Philly. This is true. Their shooting is weak. They could have some nights where the offense looks really ugly with missed shots. Imagaine the inconsistencies of a lineup with Simmons/Fultz/Butler in it? Yikes
HeHateMe 697 Report post Posted November 10, 2018 After looking at this deal from T-Wolves perspective, it’s really not a bad deal. Covington and Saric fit better around Wiggins and Towns. Covington is on an awesome 4 year deal. Saric still has 2 more years than an option. It makes a lot of sense for them too. If I’m Minny I would have rather got a first than a second but it’s not a deal breaker.
~O~ 565 Report post Posted November 10, 2018 The Magic should one up this one and trade for Kemba walker today.

Fultz can't play in Philly anymore. Butler and Simmons should handle most if not all of the ball handling duties. With this trade Philly went into win now mode. They don't have the time to be wasting on rookie development anymore. Cash out for vets and assets for future vets.

I hope we get on the phone and at least explore a trade for Fultz.

They’d maybe want Fournier.

It has nothing to do with fandom or being a warriors fan. People don't give their money away if they don't feel entertained, and the current product reflects that. Being "loyal to the team" means nothing; what has the team done for us in the last 5 years? Aside from spending our public money to build their palace of course... I didn’t know you considered being a fan as an investment
argentinaworldchampion 32 Report post Posted November 10, 2018 Sixers won this one. Dario and Covington are both decent and may fit ok in minny but is not everyday that you get a chance to add a motivated star sg to an already stacked team.

They'd be able to go into the trade deadline with Augustin-jj-Butler-Simmons-embiid with McConnell and muscala as 7 of their theoretical 9 man playoff rotation. Then they trade our pick plus Chandler for someone at the deadline.
