There go my PG hopes! Unless Grant gets a whole lot better really quick we need another PG.

We'll have to see briscoe against real NBA players first but you can't really do better with the opportunity he was given
DirtDan2012 201 Report post Posted October 2, 2018 Bamba looked like he turned his ankle when Muscalla ran him over earlier. Hopefully he doesn't miss any time.

If I am not mistaken, the Bulls provided him with the very same opportunity.

Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted October 2, 2018 So takeaways Bamba looked really good. Need to monitor foul rate going forward but I'm not worried. Embiid is his most difficult matchup. But we're fine if he just struggles with size. Helps that we have Mozgov. Martin provided activity but you hope he doesn't play big minutes. Grant vs briscoe is going to be something to watch for a while.
~O~ 565 Report post Posted October 2, 2018 16 minutes ago, ?4thewin said: You're kind of unreasonable with your opinions I think it was reasonable. Its not like I'm expecting their skills to become overt immediately or even mid way through the season. I'm speaking on the span of about 4 to 6 seasons. Its not like I'm expecting everyone to peak to Durant, Cousins, Paul, Davis standards. I expect them to peak to their own standard and for the Magic to develop a strategy to implement against using these elite skills. It just that these players should fill every chink they can through their years on this roster. If injury or personal matters are a factor, I understand. But currently, the top general managers in the league are ruthless. Especially Danny Ainge so the Magic need to be ruthless with players themselves but not in the context of panic trades. As I haven't watched a full season in over two years since I'm busy and have been discouraged from disappointment, I've missed out on some growth of Fournier..so I might agree. I might be being a bit unreasonable on my judgement of him. The outlook is that our competition will be Boston, Philly, Indy, Milwaukee, Dallas, etc, for the foreseeable future if all things align well for them.
