That’s why I want Marcus Smart. He’d change the culture of this team.

You are crazy for wanting him, you would be sick of his flopping every game and he is a douchebag to boot

I’d love smart. Not enough guys like him in the nba. Issue is he wouldn’t really make a difference on a crappy team like ours. He’s more a player that works in the right situation and Boston is that situation. I could see Miami being a good fit too or even Indiana.

You can play Smart anywhere between 1 and 4, and he’s arguably the most effective bench player in the league. He’s playing backup 1 now for Boston only because of injuries. Smart would bring a toughness we haven’t seen in years

Smart would be rubbish on a poor team. We're gonna be poor for at least 1-2 years. He will also get starter money offers in FA when he is likely going to be best used as a specialist type player off the bench.

He will only work on the floor with at least 3 good shooters but ideally 4 IMO.

Harden IMO is one of the worst "superstars" I've ever seen. If it wasn't for the way the game is officiated these days he would just be a really good player, that's it. I reckon a third of the calls he gets aren't there and another third should be called offensive fouls (not that refs call them for what he does on drives, it's not just him doing it in the league he just does it the most). He is light years behind Lebron and Durant for me.

60 point triple double says otherwise

Smart would be good for the defense and tenacity but I don't view him as a starter. He would also be another guy on the roster that lacks offensive capabilities.

I agree with most of this points. Smart is a perfect player to have coming off the bench for a team like Boston. He will struggle and likely fail to succeed in another team. Look at Crowder. He is a good example. Very similar high energy defensive player who has struggle to succeed out of that Boston system.

Chris Paul is a fighter. What a player. I'm now rooting for the Rockets just because of him

He’s officially out for game 6. #baninjuries
