If it comes down to finals record than how is 3-6 better than 6-0?

That was kind of the whole point of the original post? LeBron has gone up against greater foes than MJ, with teams that were for the most part worse than Jordan’s teams.

My issue here is that everyone looks back on Jordan’s era with these rose-tinted glasses as if it was the pinnacle of all basketball. Anything counter to that is total blasphemy and not even to be entertained. Prior to this year, I felt the sam way; The turning point for me was the LeBron shot vs Toronto that caused me to reevaluate. That and a bunch of long twitter threads which showed me all the slow white guys tasked with defending MJ in his playoff runs, and all of his ‘signature moments’ which are replicated every other day in the NBA today

Lebron hasn’t gone up against greater foes than Mj though. That’s not correct. Obviously this warriors team is great but Lebron still clearly left 2 finals on the table with the heat. The Mavericks were a great foe?

Yeah, he’s 3-6 in the Finals, you could argue he’s 2 plays away from being 1-8 in the Finals and honestly at worst, he probably should be 5-4 in the Finals.

Jordan is the greatest basketball player ever because of his accomplishments in a short period of time.  6 championships, 2 "3 peats".  5 MVP's + 6 FMVP.  Not to mention he was the best defensive guard ever winning DPOY, 3 time leader in steals, and 9 defensive team selections.   Jordan three peated in and out of his prime.  The first three titles were won at the age of 27-30 while the next three were won 32-35.

No one ever mentions his NCAA championship which is even harder to win then a NBA title in my opinion. Jordan has various college awards:

What people fail to mention is that the two last teams he beat came back to the finals to destroy him.  Spurs and Warriors.  Now, its even worse since the Warriors came back twice to destroy him. That 2016 fluke title will never happen again in finals history.

This is just a testament to my disappointment in the Eastern Conference which I've exasperated to point where everyone should be telling me to shut the ***** up about it.

Hey! You know its true!  You know this conference is ****!  lol

Why do we have to limit it by the finals?

I've always kind of put this up there with his 6 finals trophies, that's such pure dominance

This is admittedly 100% hyperbole, and I’m not sure I actually believe it, but:

if Jordan played today I think he is viewed more a Russell Westbrook-level player than someone near LeBron, or even near Durant
