Originalticketholder 133 Report post Posted May 3, 2018 After watching Cleveland beat Toronto last night and Utah beat Houston tonight, the NBA is a perimeter league with 3 point shooting a MUST. Makes our work that much tougher since we rank at the bottom on 3 point shooter %. Hope we can find some shooters in the next draft or two. Hopefully management can at least get us going in the right direction through the draft, trades, FA, and a coach that will develop our youngins. Dumping EP for a 2nd was the beginning, now if we can just put some defense at the rim our guys can guard better on the perimeter. We need to draft a shooter (Young) or a rim protector with our 1st round pick and be smart with our 2nd round picks. 1 way or the other we have to come away with a competent PG and a big and either jettison Vuc or move him to the bench. Definite work in front of us to be done. Good news is the nucleus of Gordon, Isaac, and whoever we draft. Resigning Mario (as unlikely as that seems) would be nice and help the shooting long term! Need 3 great picks this year for sure. If first pick is a big we need to get guys who can shoot already (i.e. guys like Bates-Diop, Daum, and Divincenzo), not those we hope become good shooters!
