With Bamba, Biz and Birch covering the center position we might need a PF/C that can play both positions if needed. Like Sabonis does in Indiana. Wagner can give us that extra help. The thing is there are so many other players that although they may not shoot quite as well from 3 can do a lot of other things a big slow guy can't do.
