Bauncey Chillups 288 Report post Posted February 2, 2018 Ayton seems to have pulled himself ahead of the pack and is the consensus number 1 guy based on what basketball twitter is saying. I do think Trae will settle in between 5-7 once he does draft workouts and his size limitations become apparent.

Or not worth it?

Really depends on the cost. Usually the cost to trade up to 5-7 from a starting point that's pretty much outside the draft is ridiculously prohibitive. See Boston offering 4 future non - Brooklyn picks for Winslow.

Ok, in that situation definitely not worth it.

Bauncey Chillups 288 Report post Posted February 2, 2018 I think it would be more worthwhile to pursue Sexton with a 2nd lottery pick around 9-10 than Young around 5-7.

Athleticism is overrated!!! read Curry' s draft breakdown in the 09 Magic Vs. Lakers final magazine. They claimed he had limited handles and would never take anyone to the hoop. Young is veru much a better player at the same age than he or Kyrie Irving. AND he leads his team wins unlike Markelle Fultz, doesn't defer unlike Lonzo Ball, and can shoot unlike Fox. He's arguably the best point guard prospect in half a decade. The kid can play, watch 10 games or so he's a legit player with a high iq, he's not over hyped

I could name 10 former all star points shorter than Trae.
