About 5 yrs ago maybe, when DeMar was a FA you couldn't convince me that he was a max player. But look at him now, maybe Aaron is worth the max

This is the big thing people tend to forget. These kids hitting the draft at 19 years old are NOT gonna make an immediate impact as a rookie or 2nd year player. 98% of the time they will take 3 to 5 years to develop. Juniors and seniors coming out of college are much more prepared to make an immediate impact because of not only experience, but their bodies filling out. Any of the top 5 picks with the exception of probably Doncic will take time to develop. It won't happen overnight.

Maybe.

Issue Derozan had was shooting. Then he had to learn how move the ball.

AG worked on his shot but he has to figure out how to be a max player when the shot isn't falling.

My biggest issue with Gordon is on offense he only plays with one gear which I think hurts his production. His handles are very questionable and he seems to be a straight line slasher that needs to improve his footwork.

great so he'll have something easier to work on over the summer as he looks forward to his 23rd birthday

Shooting is usually the easiest skill to improve on.
