another interesting thing. We had 8 lineups. Miami had 18.

We had the most problems when they played James Johnson at 4 instead of olynyk. And that makes sense. Johnson is one of the few players in the league that matches up really well with Gordon and the Dragic-waiters/tyler johnson-richardson-johnson-whiteside lineup does a really good job neutralizing what a payton-fournier-ross-Gordon-vucevic lineup wants to do.

Yep- there are too many variables in one game for the statistics to give a valid picture of the situation- too much noise in one sample. I think we need at least 10 games to get a better picture, the numbers will still be a little distorted due to a small sample size, but they won't be that bad.

I understand he's a rookie but Isaac only getting 3 FGAs while Biyombo tossed up 8 in fewer minutes is dumb

Isaac was too pumped.  His only three didn't even hit rim.  He needed no more shots than he got last night.  

 

Biyombo's attempts were a result of Augustin getting lost under the rim and biyombo was just there.  It wasn't really by design.

I thought Augustine actually had a decent game, with exception of few dead end drives.  Didnt seem like a terrible backup.

Great win.  And the team was fun to watch. Hoping for this to continue. Getting off to a good start will help them build some much needed confidence.
