No. Evan, Gordon and Simmons are better. Possibly others also.

I picked up on it, that's why I didn't reply angrily

Great to get that first win and it was cool to hear Vuch and Fournier talking about the beating Miami gave them in last year's opener. This team still needs someone other than Fournier to score in the clutch. That being said over the last few years they would have lost this game, dare I say progress.

holy crap. the starters had a 119.9 offensive rating and a 88.1 defensive rating.

How was the bench being that they were the problem last year?

The SL offensive/defensive rating suggests what a good system will do with an extra year of chemistry and consistent coaching staff.  The bench will learn to gel in time.  Hoping Biyombo can continue to improve his offense.

overall, fine.

the main bench lineup was bad offensively but good defensively so a net positive(98.3 ortg; 85.5 drtg). The payton-fournier-simmons-gordon-vucevic lineup was an issue but that might just have more to do with game flow.

basically, you don't want to take too much away from one game of statistics. because right now those say Ross was our best player and Simmons was our worst player and that seems more like a symptom of when Miami made it's run vs actual on court contributions.
