we have been a very lucky franchise if you ask me

Until we veered off in the wrong direction.  Teams make some of their own luck by making good decisions, not just making themselves terrible and hoping the balls bounce their way.  Works occasionally but not good odds.

lol....and in fact we drafted Saric FOR THEM....AND TRADED THEIR FIRST BACK TOO....for the awning Elfrid Payton. Priceless. If that doesn't demonstrate the differences between the franchises nothing does. It was astute management versus a 6th grader.

The truly impressive part is they're continuing to win without Embiid. Philly's going to be very dangerous in the East. They play a very physical brand of defense.

With our relative youth we should have been able to play good, hard, defense also even with the players we’ve got.  The fact that we haven’t figured that out after all these years is worrisome.  Players who’ve been contaminated by all the losing and start to hang their heads when things go wrong should be yanked.  Players who can’t or won’t play defense should have been benched also.

So..... Now that Atlanta found a way to beat Boston to tie us in the win column. What are the chances that we find a way to pull a win out of our arses on the road in Toronto to ***** up our draft position.

I tend to agree with this thought process. The problem with players that have been losing for multiple years is that they tend to mail in the season when adversity hits the team. Especially in the 2nd half of the season.

Really.... TRoss is playing today.....???? If he is I wouldn't worry. 1st game back in several months... He won't be a factor.
