It makes me so depressed. He's turning into a better player than any one of us imagined.

I was damn near the leader of the Oladipo fan club, but yeah -- even I didn't see this degree of impact.  The thing that makes me shake my head the most is that now he has all these creative finishes, scoring ability through contact, etc and probably his biggest weakness while here was finishing once he got to the rim.

It is a weird feeling to be genuinely happy for the dude but also sad/pissed at the situation.

It won't load

It's a 4-way, contract-shedding trade:

We get: Greg Monroe (1-year contract), Austin Rivers (2-year contract), Nerlens Noel (1-year contract), Devin Harris (1-year contract), M. Harrell (1-year contract)

Mavs get: Vooch, DJ Augustin, Troy Daniels (Suns)

Clips get: E. Fournier, A. Afflalo, S. Curry (Mavs)

Suns get: Biyombo, L. Williams (Clips), E. Payton, 2nd rdr from Clips and Magic

Which leaves us with:

PG: Austin Rivers, Devin Harris, Shelvin Mack

SG: T. Ross, M. Hezonija, J. Simmons

SF: J. Isaac, W. Iwundu

PF: A. Gordon, M. Harrell

C: N. Noel, G. Monroe (potential buyout), M. Speights

Yeah, I thought he would max out as a player that could make an all star game or two, but he has a good chance of being named all NBA. He legit might be the second best Shooting Guard in the league right now.

Probably need to give a first to the suns but its really not a horrible idea.

Renounce pretty much everyone in the off-season.

Resign Noel.

Maybe even Monroe if he's cheap. Bench scoring.

Make a run at Marcus smart?

Go into next year with an all defense team basically with enough offense to stay in games.  Preserve enough cap space to go after a max guy the following year or isaiah Thomas if he looks good this year

Yeah.  Somewhere between 2nd or 6th.

Hmm, something like this is interesting to think about. I don't love it, but we aren't losing anyone we really care about. I would love for us to get another first rounder somewhere, but I know that is unlikely and we will get out of our bad contracts.

Nylon Calculus ranked the top age 23 and under.

Gordon is 12, Payton 29, and Isaac 35.

That's interesting. I feel like as Gordon's sample increases this year that rating has a chance to improve to 8 or 9. Still, 12 is good

Yeah I've seen worse. Not my dream trade but not a nightmare at all.

I worry having Austin on the team would invite Doc as our coach down the road though.

Steve Kyler: With the Magic clearly going nowhere fast, Vučević is the name mentioned most in NBA circles as having value. The Magic’s message continues to be the same in trade talks. They will listen to offers and ideas but are not actively seeking change for change sake, accepting that this season was more about the newly installed front office understanding who and what they really had. League sources have maintained for some time that to get Orlando off the dime was going to take a significant player hitting the market—something that has not happened yet. 11 mins ago – via Basketball Insiders
